Welcome to BorderlineBella!
I am a very typical 20 year old girl from England. My passions are anything in the science fiction or fantasy genres, musicals, baking, reading and learning about nutrition. I’m almost always following a health or detox regime, and almost always breaking it!
I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder about 3 years ago after a semester at Newcastle University. I have struggled through since then, trying just about anything to manage my symptoms from medication to meditation.
If you don’t have a wordpress account and you would like to keep up-to-date with my posts, simply click the follow button and type your email address to receive an email when a new post is up (maximum twice a week). If you would prefer, you could also email me and I will set it up for you.
Throughout my time at Newcastle University I experienced the disappointing discrimination that comes along with the BPD diagnosis, and now I have made it my mission to spread the word about my treatment at Newcastle, and campaign for awareness and change.
Please join me, and feel free to ask me any questions you might have, about anything! If I think the answer will be interesting to more people I might post it on the page. If you have your own experience of discrimination and mental illness at university I would be really interested to hear your story. I will not post anything, names or otherwise without your permission.
Thank you for visiting BorderlineBella!
